Vaccines are one of the biggest breakthroughs in medicine that we have ever had and they are responsible for saving millions of lives. Vaccines were instrumental in eradicating small pox and there are very few cases of polio diagnoses with most coming from third world countries with inadequate health care systems. Childhood ailments like measles, chicken pox and rubella are now virtually unheard of thanks to vaccines.
However we still have a long way to go. There are parts of the world where there is limited access to these life saving vaccines and in western countries there are still people who refuse to vaccinate their children.
Even now there are researchers and scientists looking for a vaccine that could potentially halt the AIDS virus and keep it from spreading. Browse through our library of articles to get the latest research on vaccines. If you have any questions then please contact us.
